Interior Designer

In-office position

Looking to expand your skillset and work autonomously? We are looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in designing high-performance custom homes and multi-family residential projects.

A perfect workday might start with a group hike up the chief before getting into the office to tackle an interesting and challenging modern interior design for a house in Whistler, Squamish, or Revelstoke. We focus on Passive Home Design with our new build homes and multi-family housing, projects ranging in size and throughout BC. This Role is for you if:

In this Role you will be:

  • Work directly with the Senior Interior Designer, to generate interior plans, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction

  • Participate in programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation

  • Take part in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting

  • Regular travel to building sites within the province may be required.

Experience Required:

  • 2-3 year experience in an Architectural or Interior Design office, primarily in High-end Residential Design. CA experience is an asset

  • Strong skills in Revit, Sketchup, Office and Adobe suite skills. 3D rendering.

  • Possess excellent hand drawing skills. Additional interest in Art or model making is an asset.

  • Experience in creating drawing packages.

  • Have excellent written and spoken English skills.
